More pictures

Michelangelo called this door the gates to paradise, they actually lead to the baptistery.
Here is the dome as close as I can get without climbing it, which I will do some other day, but on this day my calves said no to the hundreds of stairs in the tiny hallway.
This is just your average piazza in Florence. One or two fountains, 400 year old buildings, and maybe a statue for good measure. This is 2 blocks from the dome near an old orphanage.
I don't actually know what this is for or if it even has a story, but I like the picture.

This is a SMALL sample of the very amateur photos that I have taken. All of these were taken in the Florence Cathedral area. I will throw this next one in just to prove to you I was there...

It's nice to see your face!! Nice to see that you are safe and doing well and seeing lots of cool things! Man, some of that stuff still doesn't look real in your pictures...nothing is that old here is the US. I bet it has been kind of crazy! Keep updating and know that you are missed and loved! Love Us

Oh...it was good to see you in a picture! I think that there is a likeness to the image on the celing...maybe? It looks beautiful and like it would very relaxing. Thank you so much for taking the time to post! Love you much....

Jeffrey....so glad to be able to have this blog and at least feel like I am experiencing your trip with you. So far it looks and sounds like you are having a great time. I still wish I would have climbed in your suitcase just so I could go with you.....and at least see the tennis match you are going to go see!!! Anyways, take care and God bless.
